APPLETON, Wis. (Feb. 21, 2022) – Appleton Podcast Co-op, a co-operative network for
independent podcasters in northeast Wisconsin, has partnered with McFleshman’s Brewing
Company to host “Pint with a Podcaster” on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 6 PM. McFleshman’s
Brewing Company will be releasing their new imperial vanilla stout, Balance Point, which is one
of six stouts created by McFleshman’s leading up to their annual Stout Day party.

“Podcasts have quickly taken over the audio world and beer is a staple beverage in the lives of
most adults in Wisconsin. We are excited to bring these two worlds together for a fun local
event,” David Kalsow, co-founder of the Appleton Podcast Co-op, said. “This is an exciting
opportunity for those who are interested in learning about podcasting to sit down and have a
conversation with an Appleton podcaster over a tasty pint of beer.”

“McFleshman’s Stout Day program is exploring news ways to support local arts and area
podcasts as well as nationally known media outlets whose content and missions we support. The
program culminates on Stout Day, March 26, when the last of the six Imperial Stout variants is
released in the taproom,” Bobby Fleshman, brewmaster and owner of McFleshman’s Brewing
Company, said.

All adults 21+ are welcome to attend this event, whether they want to learn about podcasting or
just have a great conversation networking with local voices in the community.
